VarioLF2/2 IN tram - As the name suggests, it is a two-section, bidirectional and double-sided tram. This means it has two driver cabins and 4 doors from both sides. Both middle doors have wheelchair accessible ramps.
All three underframes of the tram are primarily and secondarily sprung and are fully individually rotational which is beneficial for both the rails and passenger comfort. The driver’s cabin is also air-conditioned.
The tram is run by electric asynchronous gears from ŠKODA ELECTRIC plc. The underframes are equipped with asynchronous engines of our own design and production.
The installed electric gears allow to recuperate a part of the energy used while braking back to the network. The total power of this traction drive is 480 kW. The tram can accommodate up to 160 passengers, 40 of them sitting.
