The silver arrow started out

On the first February day the new arrival in the family of tram types employed on the tram lines of the Transport Company of the Capital City Prague (DP Prague), respectively the modernized vehicle of the T3R.PLF type, was presented to the professional and lay public. This tram the first two pieces of which was constructed on the turn of the year 2006/2007 in the Central Workshops of the Transport Company in Hostivař represents under the terms of Prague public traffic once again a further step toward the improvement of the transport conditions, especially for the immobile passengers and for mother with prams.

The vehicle operation was inaugurated by the deputy of the Prague city manager Mr. Radovan Šteiner, in attendance of the representatives of the case supplier the company PRAGOIMEX and the manufacturer DP Prague.

In total it is counted on the employment of 10 pieces of these trams to the end of the year 2007 and it should be about fifty up to five years.

The trams of this type range have been already field-proven in Ostrava, Liberec, Brno and Olomouc.
